Bradley Concrete provided structural upgrades of the high-rise tower and adjacent bank building at 400 California Street in San Francisco. Despite this project being highly complex and requiring work in an extremely confined space, the team successfully installed the foundation for a state-of-the-art structural steel dampening system that enabled the safe separation of the two buildings, which were leaning on each other.
In addition, the team also installed topping slabs, cast in place walls, shotcrete, and structural beams, and columns. Bradley collaborated closely with the general contractor to develop intricate Life Safety and Emergency evacuation plans to ensure the safety of all involved.
