400 California

Bradley provided structural upgrades of the high-rise tower and adjacent historic bank building at 400 California Street in San Francisco. Despite the high complexity of this project, which required work in extremely confined spaces, the team successfully laid the foundation for a state-of-the-art structural steel dampening system. This enabled the safe separation of the two buildings, which had been leaning on each other. Bradley also installed topping slabs, cast-in-place walls, shotcrete, structural beams, and columns. Bradley collaborated closely with the general contractor to develop intricate life safety and emergency evacuation plans to ensure the safety of all staff on-site.
